Glo turns 10 TODAY!

10 years in business for Glo!

Helped by local business start-up scheme The Genesis Programme, run by the Barnsley Business Innovation Centre, which is still helping  Barnsley people get into business today.

Shortly after starting we were invited to work with a York University spin-off company – Paraytec, to help them develop the world’s first miniature UV detection device for use in analysing biological samples in labs. The product went on to win an R&D 100 Award – akin to the Oscars of innovation.

Since then we’ve worked with hundreds of companies ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations.
