Who's the client?
Founded in 1981 in Japan, the RolandDG Corporation is at the forefront of the digital printing industry. Together with their affiliated companies, they are leading the way in the development, manufacturing and marketing of pioneering digital technology for creative professionals around the world.
What was the brief?
In 2005, Roland wanted to introduce to the market the MDX-40 low-cost subtractive rapid prototyping system. They were to show it at Prototype Show at the NEC in Birmingham to potential customers. They needed to be able to illustrate it's uses and advantages.

What was the solution?
As part of the development of their new desktop milling machine, Glo were asked to trial it for a fortnight, over which time we produced a new design with which to showcase the product at the Prototype Show at the NEC, Birmingham.
During the two days of the show we provided support for Roland DG (UK) Ltd by talking to customers about our experience of using the machine and how it had worked for our business.
The designs were later used throughout marketing materials which were used all over the world.
